From Profile you can export your whole memory (every card state and the review history) to a JSON file and import it on another device. No account needed.

Offline

Decks download to the device with their images. On the web they are cached by the browser; on mobile they stay stored without network.

MetaSpotter Pro

All content is free. Pro removes ads, removes the daily new-card limit, and adds advanced statistics and three streak shields. It never sells rewards.

Frequently asked questions

Is MetaSpotter free?

Yes. All 359 decks and 14,516 clues are free on every platform. The free version shows ads outside the study screen and caps new cards at 30 a day. MetaSpotter Pro removes both and adds advanced statistics.

Do I need an account?

No. Your progress is stored on the device and you can export and import it as a file from Profile. Account sync will come later.

Does it work offline?

Yes. Each deck downloads with its images. On the web the browser keeps them; on iOS and Android they stay on the device, and Pro can download everything at once.

When do the iPhone and Android apps come out?

They are in store review. The links will show up on this page and in the web app as soon as they are published. Meanwhile the web app works in your phone browser and can be added to the home screen.

Can I import my Anki decks?

Not yet. You can export and import MetaSpotter progress between devices.

Is MetaSpotter affiliated with GeoGuessr?

No. It is an independent project. The "Practise on GeoGuessr" links open the public maps that were the source for each deck.
